Urushiol is a skin irritant present in the shell of the raw unroasted cashew nuts. When raw and not roasted cashew nuts ard eaten or brought in contact with the skin can cause skin itching, rash and allergy. There is a liquid poisons present on the inner surface of the shell of the cashew nut.
